Welcome from Master

The last piece of jigsaw in a young person’s education should be furnished by collegiate experience to inspire broad vision, high aims and resilience in realizing one’s goals. Lee Woo Sing College (hereafter known as “the College”) is one of the five new Colleges of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) which were set up between 2006 to 2007. The College will continue the unique and long-cherished college tradition of the University.

The College is a medium-sized college with the motto “Wisdom, Humanity, Integrity, Harmony”. We aim at developing future leaders for Hong Kong, the mainland and the world. In addition to learning how to be kind to others and care for the earth, the College also emphasizes on “Harmony” and “green life”.

I would hereby like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Li Foundation (Bing Hua Tang) for their continuous and generous support to the College. In the past few years, the College has been providing diverse opportunities to youngsters through short-term academic and cultural exchange programmes, forum, workshops and various pastoral care and holistic education. At our enchanting College, students seek knowledge, meet new friends, grow and learn together. We also aim to imbue traditional Chinese virtues through events. This year, we are most grateful to have the generous support from Qin Jia Yuan Foundation Limited which is co-organized by Dr. Hon Philip Wong Yu-hong and Dr. Anita Leung Fung-yee. With this donation, the Chinese Art & Culture Month will be hosted for foreign exchange students who come to Hong Kong from universities from all over the world. These students will be exposed to various events on Chinese culture and arts by renowned Chinese artists through performances.

We sincerely hope that you will share our vision and join us in cultivating future leaders in a harmonious way!
