#19 Sharing is Caring

Dear Lee Woo Singers,

Today marks the end of the 7th week of the 2nd term. For most of you, this means that you will be knee-deep in midterm exams, projects, assignments, practicums, etc. Don’t stress out. And don’t study too hard either.  I’m not saying don’t study, but rather than study HARD, study SMART.  Research shows that students retain the most information from the first half hour of learning (nearly 3 times as much as the next half hour!).  So, if you feel yourself getting tired or overwhelmed, take a break.

What should you do during your break? It doesn’t matter too much, as long as it’s something that relaxes or rejuvenates you.  It could be listening to music that you enjoy, having a snack, or working out.  Better yet, listen to music with a friend, share a snack with someone, exercise together…in other words, share your experiences with those around you.

Another good option is to express yourself.  Show other Woo Singers what you like to do to relax, or send a word of encourage through the Lee Woo Sing Video Contest. Remember, the deadline for the Lee Woo Sing College video contest “Loving. Caring. ꝏ” is one week from today!  Who knows, in addition to feeling better, you might win some prizes!

Take care!
