Screening “A Plastic Ocean”

Eight million tons of plastic waste –equivalent to five grocery bags for every foot of coastline on our planet - enters our oceans every year. Filmed over four years, A PLASTIC OCEAN brings the audience to twenty locations around the world and presents never-seen-before and visually stunning images of marine life, plastic pollution, and its ultimate consequences for human health. The screening will be followed by a post-screening discussion with the Producer and guests. Free popcorn will be available to those who bring their own containers!

Our experienced instructor will guide you from seeding to harvest in six lessons, including germination, soil structure, irrigation, fertilization, compost & organic pesticides. Each student will be provided with a set of growing tray, seasonal seeds, seedlings, fertilizers, farming tools.
